Ben Diamond

Ben Diamond grew up in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the Heber Valley. He started fly fishing at an early age on the Provo River with his father. Ben’s passion for the sport has grown over the years. He is the co-owner of Fish Heads Fly shop in Heber City, Utah. He is a respected guide in the area, guiding on the Provo River as well as many other local fisheries. His love of fly-fishing spans from dry fly fishing, to swinging flies for steelhead and wading the flats in salt water. His quiet and kind nature has become his calling card. Ben enjoys sharing his knowledge of the sport, but also his respect of nature, the environment and our public lands.

Tym Davidson

Born in Sacramento Ca, I moved to Utah in 2009 and never looked back. My first job in Utah was as a Busser at PCMR for a few years then shifted to Lift Operations at Canyons for a decade before getting a job in a fly shop. Started part-time as shop grunt tying San Juan worms, sow bugs, midge patterns & building out bounce rigs for clients while taking the occasional guide trip to help with bills. I am totally obsessed with all things Fly Fishing and Fly tying. The fly shop gig helped fuel the obsession of catching fish on the fly rod, fully submersed in the sport, eventually it would lead to the opportunity to go “all in” become a Co-Owner of Heber City’s premiere fly shop/guide service & destination travel hosts. If I’m not in the fly shop helping customers or tying flies, you can find me on a river/lake near you or possibly traveling to a far-off destination for the next bucket-list species on the fly rod. Join me on a hosted trip, Let’s fish!

Curtis Lindley

Originally from Texas, Curtis moved to Heber Valley in 2015. His passion for our “natural spaces” grew from his love of rock/ice climbing, mountaineering and backcountry snowboarding. While living in Bishop, California he began fly fishing to provide my body rest from the physical impact of climbing at a high level. He became “HOOKED” and quickly found himself hunting down trout more than pulling down on stone. Seeking an opportunity to make “Outdoor Recreation” his career he relocated to Utah and attended Three Rivers Ranch Guiding School in Warm River, Idaho. His fondness for helping anglers “create lifelong memories” while fishing dry flies on small water has led to me building an extensive client list and becoming the General manager of the Fish Heads Fly Shop brand. He is a driven individual that believes in results rather than excuses. His work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service is unrivaled and guarantees a great day on the water.

Skyler Gillette

Skyler Gillette was born and raised in Utah with a deep passion and love for the local mountains & landscapes. Skyler loves teaching from beginners to experienced anglers the art of fly fishing and looks forward to sharing his passion every day on the water. Skyler is a dedicated father of 5 and on his free time loves exploring new places with his family.

James Cummings

To me there is nothing more mindful than standing in a river fishing for trout. I often tell people fishing is my form of mental yoga, completely immersed in nature and in the moment with one goal “tricking some trout.” Nothing puts a smile on my face more than watching the chaos unfold with the clients when they hook a fish. It’s almost as if I’m experiencing it for the first time again and I guess you could say that’s why I fell in love with guiding. I love putting people on fish from the complete rookie to the experienced angler and I love every challenge that comes with it.

Austin Alexander

Austin Alexander is a born and raised Utahan. He has been fly fishing the Provo River since he could walk. Getting people on fish fuels his passion and he’ll work hard for his clients to create a memorable experience on the water!

Bryan Moved to the Heber Valley where he has been guiding on the Provo River for nearly 20 years! Bryan’s passion remains committed to connecting clients with the Environment!

Dan Bell

Northern Utah's trout streams have been Dan's home waters for over 20 years. The spring creeks of Southern Pennsylvania inspired a teenage bass angler to pick up a fly rod. Upon moving west, the rivers draining the Greater Yellowstone area and Montana offered amazing opportunities for him to learn the ways of western trout fishing for several summers. Dan honed his skills exploring Northern Utah since 2004. Before his guiding career Dan also spent 6 years working in a fly-fishing retail. He knows the ebbs and flows of the regions tail waters and freestones alike. When not guiding Dan prefers the solitude of the high-altitude fisheries. In the winter you'll find him chasing deep snow on skis, or ice fishing.

Derek Snodgrass

“Growing up on the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers in western Montana, Derek Snodgrass had an early love for fresh water. From 2015-2021, he was fishing in Alaska on a small commercial salmon boat, which led to fly fish guiding in New Zealand, and now Utah. Snodgrass is passionate about sharing his love for fishing and conservation with every client he meets.”

Drake Roskelley

Drake converted to the religion of fly-fishing over ten years ago. When he is not on the water you will find him camping, mountaineering, riding motorcycles, and shooting fireworks with his family. He is also a designer, welder, metal fabricator and wood worker. He is known for his good vibes and joyful nature out on the water. We can say with conviction “There is never a bad day when you are outdoors with Drake!”

Kris Clemmons

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest fishing the lakes and rivers of Western Washington. My love for rivers and the fish that inhabit those places took me to pursue a degree in Fisheries Management. Once I finished my degree, I worked as a Field Biologist for the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Department before moving to Utah. Over the last decade I have been fishing/guiding in the Heber Valley and surrounding areas. From technical tailwaters to remote free stone streams, we have quite a variety of options to choose from. I enjoy teaching all levels of anglers and want my passion to be passed on to others. Let’s get out on the water, catch some fish, have a couple laughs, and make some lasting memories.

McRae Williams

McRae Williams is a 34-year-old Park City native. I spent most of my younger days as a professional competitive skier, winning 3 X Games medals (1 gold, 2 silver), a World Championship title in 2017, as well as earning the opportunity to represent Team USA at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, an experience I’ll never forget. Fly fishing came to me later in life as it was a great way to spend the summertime off of my skis given all the amazing trout fishing, we have here in Utah. I quickly developed a strong passion and love for the sport of fly fishing and before I knew it I began guiding here on my home waters, the iconic Provo River. I have been guiding the Provo for 6 years now, along with several other nearby fisheries. Not a day goes by where I don’t absolutely love spending quality time on the river, getting to know great people, and putting a few fish in the net along the way.

Nikki McGee

Originally from Minnesota, I made Utah my home in 2006, hoping on a plane hours after my last final in college. What started as a four-month climbing trip turned into a lifelong career in the outdoor industry spanning fly fishing, rock climbing, experiential education, and adventure sports. My deep respect for wild places and a love for sharing them with others, is what fuels my soul. As such, I try to bring energy, knowledge, and fun to everything I do and teach. When I’m not chasing fish, you can find me chasing fresh lines in the backcountry, working in a heli-skiing operation, or sharing my expertise as an athlete, guide, personal trainer, and novelty seeker.

Sam Elam

Sam moved to Utah from Ohio in 2010 to live the mountain life. He grew up conventional fishing which eventually sparked his interest in the art of casting flies. Once he arrived in Utah, he immersed himself in the craft of fly-fishing. Over the years, he has become proficient in all aspects of the sport (i.e. dry fly, nymphing, streamers, euro-nymphing). He has developed an in-depth understanding of all out local rivers and streams. While he loves to fish, his true passion is sharing knowledge, educating others, and helping anglers of all levels develop their skills. He quotes, “There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing others succeed on the river!” He loves his job as a guide-everyday on the water is unique, and the challenge of outsmarting trout is what keeps him coming back. You are guaranteed to “make some lasting memories” with Sammy.
