Curtis was born and raised in East Texas. He spent his early years enjoying the outdoors of the Ark-La-Tex region with his grandfather and father. While on a road trip in his early twenties, he fell in love with climbing in the Eastern Sierra and decided to stay. Desperately needing a rest day activity from climbing full time he began fly fishing. However, it was not long before he wanted to make it his life’s pursuit. He moved to Utah so he could better access the productive waters of the mountain west. When he is not guiding you will find him climbing with his wife Tara, or fishing the South Fork of the Snake, or Green River. Curtis loves to have fun and is committed to providing his clients with a memorable experience. Combine that with his work-ethic, and it makes for a great time on the water.
